Be Prepared for Winter Weather with Rayovac

This post was written by the Experimental Mommy.  While a sample was received to facilitate this review, all opinions remain 100% mine.

In New Orleans, we are no strangers to severe weather.  Every New Orleanian knows that June 1st begins Hurricane season and chances are we already have our evacuation and preparedness plans in place.  But this year, we traded our flip flops and tank tops for heavy coats and scarves when a hard freeze hit our area.

Ice blanketed our lawns and streets and we had no idea what to do as this is rare in Southeast Louisiana.  Fortunately, Rayovac has some great tips for being prepared before a severe winter storm heads your way.  When power was lost in our neighborhood, I was very happy to be armed with my Rayovac batteries and flashlights.

I love my Rayovac Value Bright LED Flashlights.  With 58 lumens and 40 hours of battery time, I won’t have to sit in the dark during any of our regular or irregular storms!  The smaller size is perfect to put next to my daughters’ beds at night in case of an emergency situation.

Rayovac wants to help keep you safe during a severe weather situation. Use code LIGHTS15 to receive 15% off ALL lights  plus FREE shipping on orders over $25 (excluding bundles).
