Living in New Orleans, there is definitely no shortage of good food. One of my absolute favorite things to indulge is a Salted Caramel Cupcake. It is so darn delicious but not too calorie or diet friendly. The more I thought about it, while the cupcake is certainly divine, it was the combination of salty and sweet that I craved.
My hubby and I have been on a weight loss journey the last few months and have been looking for healthier replacements to our vices. Fortunately, a few boxes of Nonni’s Salted Caramel Biscotti showed up on my doorstep for us to test. We are new to Nonni’s so I did a little research. From the website:

After checking out the Salted Caramel box, I noticed that each biscotti is just 100 calories. Now that is much better! The biscotti is filled with caramel, dipped in milk chocolate and sprinkled with sea salt. Plus, it’s individually wrapped so the box stays fresh.
But, did it taste good enough to help me stay clear of the dreaded cupcake? Absolutely! I got the same salty and sweet satisfaction with much less calories. The biscotti is a perfect snack with a cup of hot tea before bed. Now, I’m not saying that I will never find my way back to the bakery to indulge in my favorite treat, but the Nonni’s Salted Caramel biscotti will certainly help satisfy the craving.
