Chrysler’s Road to Literacy Test Drive Program

I believe one of the greatest gifts a child can receive is the ability to read.  Picking up a book opens a whole new world!  Throughout this year, my daughter has begun her literacy journey in Kindergarten.  It has been such a great experience to watch her confidence build with each new early reader, and just recently she picked up her first chapter book.

With the new Road to Literacy Test Drive Program, Chrysler is donating books for every 2011 Town and Country Test Drive through June 1st.  Simply take a ride in luxury (who wouldn’t want a Town and Country, right?), and five books will be donated to the school of your choice along with five additional books to a school in need.

How it works:

1.  Register on Chrysler’s Facebook page and let them know how you would like to be contacted as well as which school you would like to support.

2.  When you arrive at your test drive appointment, check in using Facebook Places.  Don’t forget to ask your dealer for the donation code before you leave!

3.  Return home, log in to Facebook and enter your dealer’s donation codes!  Easy!

Chrysler has the ultimate goal of donating 150,000 books to children with this promotion!  Currently, 270 books have been donated.  You can easily track how many books have been donated in your State on the Facebook page…..none in Louisiana so far!  New Orleanians, get out there and drive for literacy!  To find the nearest Town and Country dealer, check out the locator tool on Chrysler’s website!

Don’t miss any of Chrysler’s new promotions!  Follow them on Twitter for up to date information.
