As a self proclaimed science geek, you probably know that I like weird things like microscopes, DNA and…..wait for it….wait for it….statistics.  Will you still be my friend (I can be super cool, too!)?  I love to look at graphs and analyze data including the numbers here at Experimental Mommy.  It gives me some freakish sense of accomplishment as I watch the charts climb from July of 2008 till present day.  However, I seem to have hit a plateau.  Blech.  My pretty chart isn’t climbing as much as I would have hoped.
I blame her.
While I put my heart and soul into the blog, my limiting factor is time.  With a full time job, two children, a husband, a house, a blog network and a blog conference to work on, I will admit that I have had less time here at Experimental Mommy.  That being said, I think there are steps I can take to drive traffic to my site such as landing page optimization, effectively using Stumble Upon, conversion rate optimization, increasing use of Twitter and Facebook, and making sure all of my posts are properly optimized for search engines…..oh, and writing good content for y’all, too!
For the time being, can you all let me know how I am doing?  Anything you would like to see more of?  Less of?  Brands you would like to see featured?  More recipes?

  1. I love seeing review giveaways for grocery items, like Tyson, Kellogg’s, Hunts, Heinz, Proctor and Gamble, etc….
I love seeing review items for shoes and clothes for babies and toddlers.
I think everyone can use low cost recipes for families right now, especially if they tie in with coupons links that can be used at that time to get some of the items the recipe calls for.
Toy review giveaways are always great in they are done in advance of Christmas with enough time to have the prize delivered to the winners so they get them at least a couple of weeks or more before Christmas.
I’m not so much into jewelry reviews and giveaways, but I’m sure others are. I’d rather see reviews for blow dryers, curling irons, and electric shavors (both men and women’s kinds).
I’d love to see more review giveaways for guy related items, like tools, or even mens shoes, jeans etc…
    Hope this helps a bit.

  2. I think you do a fine job on this blog. I can’t think of anything that you should change, unless you want to add more recipes. I’m always in search of quick, easy recipes, especially around any holiday.
