Little Looster: Review and Giveaway

hypothesis As we potty train my youngest daughter, the Little Looster will provide a sense of comfort, confidence and cleanliness.

materialsOne white Little Looster and a two year old girl ready to enter the “big girl” world of using the grown up potty!  About Little Looster:

“Little Looster LLC is a Portland, OR based business. The Looster itself was conceived and designed by Monica Mylet, a mother of 3. She came up with the design and need after parenting 3 kids through the potty training process. Just about every aspect of the Looster’s life cycle from birth-of-concept to design and manufacturing was completed by Oregon based companies.

results A few months ago, we began potty training my two year old daughter.  She was doing great until one day, she grew a little over-confident and fell into the potty.  Needless to say, she was not very happy, a bit scared and then she regressed.  So, when I was introduced to the Little Looster, I thought it would be just the thing to get us back on track.

The Little Looster is a U-shaped plastic step stool that easily fits around the base of the toilet.  It allows my daughter to easily climb onto the seat (hands-free…YAY!).  Not only is this a great way to help avoid germs, but it provides her with a sense of confidence because she has more stability and control over her movements since her feet are no longer dangling.

Aubrie has done a great job with her new step stool and has even begun taking herself to the potty.  I also love that we don’t have to remove the Little Looster when adults need to use the restroom.  The toilet is still easily accessible with the looster in place.

hypothesis I hate to jinx myself, but dare I say that Aubrie is officially potty trained?!?  The Little Looster helped her gain confidence in the bathroom and allows her to sit on the potty without assistance.  This step stool fits around the toilet and still allows access when adults need to use the restroom.  I feel like this is a great buy for parents who are in the process of potty training!  It can be purchased directly from Little Looster for $39.99.

  2. The current stool we use is unstable and tilts often because it is just too small. This makes Ethan feel uncertain when trying to get on the potty. Confidence is KEY when potty training!

  3. It would help us because we are in the process of potty training my son, and he is so afraid of falling in the toilet! I think this would give him a sense of security, having something to put his feet on.
    Thanks!

  4. OMG – so excited you are giving this away! We will probably buy one if we don’t win as I’ve been looking into it. I love the fact that the adults don’t have to move anything to use the restroom! Thanks! thebubbledies(at)gmail(dot)com

  5. I like that it fits against the toilet so it is not in the way of adults.

  6. This would be great in my house because my son puts his hands on the seat whenever he is trying to get on the toilet.

  7. it would be great in our home because adults dont have to get up to go to the bathroom! and I hate that about the little seats that I have to move!

  8. I will be potty training twins later on this year and this would be so handy to keep at the toilet for when they are ready to go.

  9. This would be an asset at our home because it really would help our little one be independent (like he so wants to be)!

  10. This is the BEST potty booster I have ever seen! We will be potty training in a few months. I wound up getting a safety 1st step stool thinking it would work for me at the tub then later for the little one. This is much better. It boosts them up and gives them a sense of confidence while on the pot that they don’t have to be overly cautious about stepping down.

    What a great find!

  11. With a potty trained 4-year old, an almost 2-year old who will need to be potty trained soon, another baby who will eventually use the toilet, this would be perfect! I love that it doesn’t need to be moved for an adult to use the toilet, makes it even better!

  12. We’re just beginning to potty train. This would be awesome to have later on when my daughter is ready to move from the potty chair to the big girl toilet. I love the fact we wouldn’t have to move this around all the time.

  13. This would be perfect since my son is just getting ready to potty train and this way he doesn’t have to take over the bathroom.

  14. The Little Looster would be a tremendous help in my home. I’m about to start potty training my 2 year old twin girls. This product looks like it will make this adventure so much smoother.

  15. This woulde be perfect when my son starts to potty train! why because it fits perfectly to the toliet and no need to move it when groun ups need it too!

  16. This is exactly what we need! My 3 yr old still needs help getting on and off the toilet, and little looster seems so sturdy and perfect for her. It would also help my son, who goes by himself, but still has some difficulty when he goes #2, and I think having firm ground to set his feet on would really make him more comfortable!

  17. My grandson will be starting potty training in the near future, and this would make it much easier for him to use the stool when he is at my house.

  18. i like that grown ups can use the bathroom without having to move it around

  19. I love the fact that this stays at the toilet and doesn’t need moved around. My daughter potty trained very early, and is very frustrated that she can’t go on “Mommy’s potty.” But she can’t easily get up and down on her own, and when I’ve tried with a small stool she still couldn’t get up and down easily.

  20. I love the fact that you don’t have to move the looster for adults to use the toilet…very convenient! This would def. come in handy as we will begin potty training soon!

  21. i love that it doesn’t have to be moved so it will always be in place when my son runs by himself to the potty.

  22. This would be great to have because I have a toilet seat insert, but no step stool yet. I want to start training my daughter in a few months.

  23. I would love it because an adult can still use the toilet without having to move it unlike the step stool we use now.
