How many times have you spent hours clipping and sorting your coupons only to leave them at home? Or been shopping at the mall and wish you had a coupon for your favorite shoe store? I am so happy to have the opportunity to introduce you to RivePoint, a great cell phone application that allows you to search, save and redeem coupons for a variety of items and services directly to your cell phone. Now you will never be without your savings again! A little bit about RivePoint:
“You can think of RivePoint as a coupon book for cell phones that allows users to rapidly search, save, and use coupons. Customers can search for coupons by business category, name, or location. When a user finds a business on RivePoint they will be shown related coupons, address of business, contact information, distance from current location, and driving directions (iPhone only). The user can then save the coupon for future use and later show it to the cashier to redeem the discount/coupon.”
Because RivePoint is available anywhere in the United States, it is not only useful in my own hometown (I found a great pizza deal!), but I plan to use it next month while we are on vacation in Florida. It is no secret that many families are looking for budget vacations, so any way I can save a few pennies here and there is greatly appreciated.

I JUST read somewhere coupons on the phone were the #1 preferred way to receive them and felt silly since I haven’t jumped on that bandwagon yet. I will be checking it out today!

It reminds me of Yowza, the app Greg Grunberg created. However this one is BETTER because it is everywhere. His is mainly big cities. But here is my questions, does it work on any phone? I have a Verizon Palm Pre?

Cell phone coupons are an interesting concept! One cashier told me that they actually scanned someone’s cell phone once at the register, in order to pick up their store loyalty card loaded on their phone. LOL!
That’s a great idea. I would love not to have to clip or organize coupons!
