For years, when I would replace the toilet paper in the bathroom, I would place it on the holder with the paper coming OVER (roll over). No real reason other than he fact that I thought it looked better and was easier to grab. In 2002, we got a Beagle named Callie. As she grew, she was able to reach the toilet paper and began spinning the roll of paper with her paws until the entire roll was on the floor! I have since switched to a roll under girl because Callie can spin the paper forever and none will unroll to a pile on the floor if it is placed in this orientation. Problem solved!
Cottonelle did a recent poll asking consumers if their household was a “Roll Over” or “Roll Under” family. An overwhelming 70% of families claim to prefer “Roll Over.” Obviously, they don’t have Beagles!
Cottonelle quickly went to work to design a new softer, stronger toilet paper that would “roll” with everyone’s preferences. I had the opportunity to try out the newly redesigned paper from Cottonelle and it served it’s purpose well. I do think it is thicker than our current brand and I liked the texture and quality of the paper.
