hypothesis The PUR Flavor Options pitcher will be a great way to reduce the use of water bottles in my home as well as introducing more water into my daughters’ diet.

The PUR Flavor Options Pitcher is like no other water filter pitcher.  Keep clean, filtered water conveniently chilled in your refrigerator.  When you feel like adding tasty flavor to your glass, just push a button.  The more you push, the more flavor is added.  The rest of the pitcher water remains unflavored.”

At every grocery store visit, we always by a case of bottled water.  I carry two bottles of water to work each day which adds up quickly.  Plus, I am a sweet tea girl, so if I am going to drink water, it needs to taste good!  When I was asked to review the PUR Flavor Options pitcher, I thought it would be a great opportunity to introduce more water into our daily lives without the expense of buying cases of water at a time.

The first step to setting up the pitcher was to soak the filter for 15 minutes followed by a 10 second rinse.  All parts were hand washed and a raspberry flavor cartridge was inserted.  I filled the top of the pitcher with tap water and the filter went to work removing 98% of lead and other water contaminants while leaving the fluoride.

After chilling the pitcher, I poured myself a glass of water in order to try out the flavor cartridge.  To operate, simply push the blue button which releases some flavor (sugar and calorie free) into a reservoir.  The flavor is NOT released into the whole pitcher, so you can have one glass of flavored water and one glass of regular water at the same time!  I also love that you can switch out flavor cartridges if your whole family doesn’t agree on one flavor.  The raspberry flavor was excellent!  Lily even asked for more!

summary

The PUR Flavor Options Pitcher was easy to assemble, easy to use and easy to upkeep (a light indicator will let you know when it’s time to change your filter).  The raspberry flavor was great!  I intend to bring this water pitcher with me to work in order to reduce the amount of bottles we purchase at the grocery.

  4. I would love to try the Strawberry or Peach. The PUR quiz said I am Raspberry. I am totally loving this product idea! I go through sooo much bottled water, this would really be awesome to have!

  5. The Grape and the Peach would be our favorite flavors to try.
Thank you so much for the chance to win.

  6. My hubby and I have been talking about getting a filter. If I win, I’d like to try the Strawberry. Which, coincidentally, is the flavor that the flavor quiz on the site picked for me!
