Think Thin Thursdays

Break out the scales and weigh in!
It’s Thursday!
The Not-So-Blog

How did everyone do this week? I think the key this week for me was meal planning. My hubby and I decided to start a budget in January, so we have been forced to plan our meals better and eat out less. In addition to helping our bank account, our budget has helped our waistlines, too!
I find that if I plan healthy breakfasts, lunches, snacks and dinners IN ADVANCE, I am far less likely to stray from the diet. If left to my own devices, I will head for the french fries every time!

So, how did all this planning work? Let’s see………
That’s a loss of 0.8 lbs! Slow but sure……
I am only 1 pound away from pre-pregnancy weight! Whoo hoo!

Now, the fun stuff…..PRIZES! Congrats to the people who signed the Shrinky Linky! The winner of the Little Debbie 100 calorie Sampler pack is:

Nicole @ The Graves’ House!

Please send me your shipping info to notsoblog@gmail.com to claim your prize! CONGRATS!

If you achieved your goal this week, make sure you sign the Shrinky Linky below! You never know when a prize might turn up!

This week: Don’t forget to put the Think Thin Thursday button on your sidebar and blog about your goal for this week. Also, try to visit the blogs of the participants and show some support! Encourage others to join us as well!

The task of the week: I think the hardest meal for me to plan is breakfast. I need it to be quick and portable (I usually eat breakfast at my desk at work). I get in a rut and eat the same thing day in and day out, and it’s getting old. Include in your Think Thin Thursday post a breakfast menu or item that works for you!

Good Luck this week! See you next Thursday!

  1. Man o man, from now on, I’m totally on board with Think Thin Thursdays. Funny too, cause I’ve been posting my weight loss every Wednesday along with WW. Now, I’ll be switching it to Thursdays and grabbing your button. It’ll be nice to have the support while I work towards my goal of 145. Yes, my prepregnancy weight. I gotta long way to go…

  2. Just one more pound away!! That is awesome. Good for you.

I have that way of thinking too. If I don’t buy the pop not only am I drinking less sugar, I am saving some money.

  3. Congratulations your so close! I had an emotional week so I didn’t accomplish any of my goals. But I didn’t fall of the wagon, I’m just holding on by my fingertips.

I posted my new goal (ok a return to my old goal). I also posted my breakfast ideas. I’m big on breakfast. I’m also posting my high fiber granola bar recipe.

  4. Great job Bridgette! I can’t wait until I’m that close! 7 more pounds until pre-preggers and then 8 after that to reach my goal!

BTW, I’m “under construction” right now BUT your button will be back up soon!

  5. I didn;t not reach my goal this week for portion control that is for sure!! So….next weeki will be back on track. My goalnext week will be the water again….baby steps, right?!

  7. So, I want to be a part of this ‘Think Thin Thursday’. So is all I need to do is blog it next Thursday or what?

  8. I posted about my success. Although I didn’t meet my goals, I still did well and lost 2 pounds which is good! Maybe next week I can stick to my goals and sign Mr. Linky. 🙂

  9. Bridgette, you are just a tiny thing!! I can’t wait to get on the scale and have it read 119, which is probably NEVER, LOL.
