Precious Girls Club: Review and Giveaway CONTEST CLOSED

Do you have a Precious Girl in your life? After wading through aisles of age inappropriate toys for my daughter at Christmastime, I am so happy to see a website that promotes a wholesome and safe environment online for young girls.

The Precious Girls Club was started by the book character, Katie in “A Little Bit of Faith” when she moved to a new town. Katie didn’t know anyone and had a hard time reaching out to make friends. Her Mom and Aunt convinced her to believe in herself, have a little bit of Faith, and start a club for the girls at her school!
The PGC grew into a wonderful online community where young girls can play in a wholesome, virtual world. Decorating her room, buying new clothes, sending friends postcards, playing games and even attending Chapel are a few activities your daughter can find by joining the Precious Girls Club. As she completes tasks, she can gain virtue charms such as: Helpfulness, Kindness and Responsibility. Once five virtues are earned, your Precious Girl is awarded wings and can advance to a new level of the website including secret games!

One feature I really liked about the Precious Girls Club is that it encourages parents to be involved. There is a Parent Landing feature of the website that allows you to interact with your child in this virtual world by sending them messages rewarding them for good behavior or acts of kindness in the real world. They also have printable pamphlets for parents that suggest ways to talk to your daughter and reinforce the virtues found in The Precious Girls Club.
Want to try it out? The Precious Girls Club has given me the following code for your Precious Girl to enjoy one month FREE Rainbow Membership:

  7. Any little girl would love the Precious Girl’s Club–I’m entering for a friend’s daughter, whose Dad has been out of work since May. Thanks for the giveaway.

  8. That is so neat!! This is right up my newly seven year old’s alley. Email is too complicated for her at this point, and I bet the communicating on the “virtual laptop” would be great in helping her feel more like a “big girl”. Her brother plays on more boyish type sites, this would be a great way for her to play “girlie” 🙂

  10. Though I know my daughter would absolutely love this site, I have a niece who loves sites like this, and since she is struggling on learning to write, the ability to send her little notes on the virtual laptop on the site would go a long way in getting her to improve her reading skills!

  15. What a great thing! My daughter would like this because of the interactive aspect, the dog, fun colors, the girl, etc. (And she’d love that I love it not being so focused on commercialism like some other interactive sites!) Thank you for letting me know about the site, and the chance to win!!
