Review: Chic Covers

My little (almost 8 month old) chunky monkey has exceeded the weight limit on her infant carrier, so it is time to step up to a “big girl” carseat. I decided to move Lily into a new 5 point booster, and Aubrie moved into her sister’s Britax Marathon. Lily has definitely gotten use out of her Marathon and the seat looks a bit worn. I looked into the Britax replacement covers which are nice, but the selection leaves much to be desired. I wanted something GIRLY!

I was so excited when Estela from Chic Covers contacted me for a review! Looking around her site, I couldn’t believe the selection for both girls and boys! She sells MANY different patterns that fit several different models of car seats including the Britax, Graco and Perego. Look how cute!
Estela also sells infant carriers covers, shopping cart covers, handbags and boppy slip covers. She was nice enough to send me the Hawaiian lei Toddler car seat cover for our Britax Marathon! It arrived in a nice plastic zippered pouch perfect for storage. The craftsmanship of the cover is first rate. I immediately noticed the durability and softness of the fabric. It was very easily to install and fit my Marathon to a tee!

I really love the pattern! Even Aubrie was happy to have a “new” car seat!

Go on over to Chic Covers and check out the great selection! Estela is extremely nice and very professional. I highly reccommend her business! You won’t be dissappointed with your purchase!

In fact, Estela has offered my readers 20% off their entire purchase! Just tell her that you saw the review on The Not-So-Blog!

  1. That is so cute and girly! I need to get bigger car seat for my Princess so definitely will look what they have for covers 🙂

  2. I love fabrics and products that you won’t see in every other persons home/car. I think these covers look well made and even like the seat came from the store. Sometimes covers if not quality made can look just that. Great review and thanks

  3. Okay, are they cute or what?!

I HAD to come back here to tell you Bridgette she has a Cowpokes cowboys cover. It’s cute AND my son’s WHOLE bedroom is this exact theme!

Yeah, my MIL made the quilt, shams, valance, EVERYTHING! It would be so cute to have this for him. Too bad my husband would divorce me if I spend that much on a carseat cover.. WAAH! I want one! 🙂

Thanks for posting about these, I’m saving it in my favorites in case I can ever convince him to let me buy one.

  4. Your daughter is just beautiful.I love babies they grow up too fast:(happy she loves her new cover!
Thanks for the review & have a wonderful week!

  5. I would like to say what an awful site and business chic covers is. They have a terrible web site that no one could possible navigate. There discripstions are terrible and the service is awful. I ordered a car seat cover for a graco car seat and when I got it the fabric looked faded and dirty and wasn’t even the right cover for the seat. Upon emailing the company I get a snotty response of had u told me that it was for this seat I would not have made it. There is no returns because they say everything is custom even though it is listed on there website with a picture so how it is “custom” is beyond me. Take it from me go else where when buying a car seat cover you will only be disappointed with chic covers.
