Our designs are sophisticated and classic with modern twists sprinkled throughout. And most importantly, our shoes are healthy for developing feet.

The soles are made of extremely flexible rubber which is great for outdoor use while allowing the foot to flex in all the right places. They’re also made of butter soft leather with a breathable leather lining and padded collars for comfort.

Finally, See Kai Run shoes are easy to get on and off with Velcro closures that ensure a great fit.

I have been a long time fan of See Kai Run shoes!  My first daughter had several pairs and now it is time for Aubrie to follow suit.  I picked the Kaya shoe from the See Kai Run to try out on Aubrie’s wide feet.  The style appealed to me as a great shoe for daycare because it is Velcro (easy for teachers) and it is closed toe (no play yard mud entering shoe).  When the shoe arrived, I tried it on Aubrie and it fit perfectly.  I love that the leather is soft and allows much flexibility for her growing foot.  At the same time, the shoe is wonderfully made and appears to be quite sturdy.  I would definitely purchase shoes in the future from See Kai Run!

summary

See Kai Run offers both boy and girl shoes in sizes 6 months-3 years which have been accepted by the American Podiatric Medical Association.  The shoes have flexible soles, wide openings and toe boxes, velcro closures and breathable leather all of which makes this brand one to watch!  In fact, they just launched their new Fall line which is simply adorable!  And if your baby is not quite in a size 3, check out the Smaller line for infant shoes or if your child has sprouted, the Eleven line for big kids!

Review and Giveaway: Polliwalks

I’m going to show my age here, but follow me while I reminisce for a minute….

The most FUN pair of shoes I had when I was growing up was Jellies!  Remember those?  Basically, they were clear rubbery shoes that just about everybody wore in the early 80′s.  I loved my Jellies.  I had a ton of colors and even some sparkly ones (I was a dork then, too)!  Who knew shoes could be FUN for kids?!?

Well, Polliwalks did!  This innovative company with the slogan “Fun for Feet,”  has perfectly combined fit, function and fun in their line of childrens shoes!

From their website:

Polliwalks™ was born from the imagination of long time footwear designer and former toy designer, Joel Rusnak.  He had the idea that children’s shoes should be fun and offer toy like features that will make wearing shoes a playful experience, while offering support, stability and comfort for little feet.

polliwalksanimalsThe shoes are offered in 11 different styles, all resembling animals!  From fish to puppies, cats to fireflys, Polliwalks has a shoe to fit your little one’s foot and imagination.  Each shoe features built -in arch support and a deep heel cup to ensure stability and support.  Not only does the shoe look like an animal, but it’s Footprinter Bottom will leave animal tracks to match when walking through sand, mud or water!  In addition, several products have added features like changing colors or light up tails!

Lily received a pair of Fish Lips in Sky Blue and she went BONKERS for these shoes!  The lips of the shoe turn purple when exposed to UV light, so Lily spent almost an hour running inside and outside to watch her shoes turn color.  I started to wonder if this was a shoe or a toy?!? LOL!

The fun design immediately drew her in, but it was the function that sold me!  The sandal design is great for slipping on and off when in a hurry.  However, the Fish Lips shoe features a removable elastic heel strap which ensures that the shoe will stay put.  The material is very low maintenance requiring only a damp cloth or mild soap for cleaning.

On her way to dance class, Lily stopped to demonstrate how her cool new shoes change color:
