Coffee for Less: BAM!

As most of you know, I am a native New Orleanian.  I love everything about this City…the food, the people, the festivals…what’s not to love, right?  My husband is a huge fan of coffee with chicory which provides a very bold cup of coffee.  While, he loves our Keurig machine, he has been unable to find a flavor that really says “N’Awlins” in a K-Cup.  So he was excited to try a blend from one of New Orleans’ own, Emeril Lagasse.  Emeril’s Big Easy Bold is described as:

Big Easy BoldEmeril’s Big Easy Bold K-Cups is a coffee with BAM! This is the coffee for coffee drinkers who like a lot of flavor in every single cup they brew. Try Emeril’s Big Easy Bold K-Cups if you are looking for a robust dark roast with full flavor. Timothy’s Coffee provides Emeril’s Big Easy Bold in convenient K-Cup refills for your single serve coffee machine, making it possible to have a bold cup of coffee on demand. Timothy’s Coffee and Emeril have teamed up to make this quality coffee available to you through your single serving hot beverage machine.

While the coffee does not have chicory, my husband very much enjoyed this flavor.  Of the ground coffee and K-Cups he has tried in the past, this one is tops!  He was almost tempted to scream, “BAM!”

Coffee for Less: Review

The wheel, radio, the telephone and the Keurig and in my opinion some of the greatest inventions of all time!  My husband uses the Keurig machine every single day for his morning coffee, but in all honestly, I don’t get to use it much.  I will tell you a little secret…..I am not a coffee lover (gasp)!  You can unfriend me now if you must.  However, I am a huge tea drinker. My grandmother used to make me hot tea sweetened with condensed milk and I was hooked for life.

Fortunately for me, Coffee for Less sells more than coffee K-Cups and ground coffee, they sell tea, too!  From the website:

teaWild and exotic teas are grown around the world, and CoffeeForLess.com can deliver them right to your door! CoffeeForLess.com has green tea, herbal tea, black tea, chamomile tea and chai tea to choose from. Also, brands such as Tazo Tea, Bigelow Tea, Lipton Tea, Tetley Tea and Celestial Seasonings Tea are available. Perhaps either you, your family or guests would prefer an iced tea. Not to worry, CoffeeForLess.com offers Honest Tea bottled iced tea for your enjoyment.”

Better yet, they even have tea K-cups!  I was lucky enough to try out the Gloria Jean Earl Grey K-Cups!  I absolutely love making tea in my Keurig.  So simple and really took minutes off my morning routine (gotta have my tea in the car on the way to work)!  The tea was delicious and delivered right to my door.  No searching stores for my favorite brand!

Coffee for Less: February Giveaway!

I know many of you are experiencing record snowfall in your areas, so I know you will love this giveaway from Coffee for Less!  While we may not be getting snow down here, I bet the sale coffee has skyrocketed in the past few days.  In case you haven’t heard, my beloved New Orleans Saints won the Superbowl (still seems surreal)!  If New Orleans knows how to do one thing right, it’s PARTY!  Sunday night, the French Quarter was packed with die hard Saints fans celebrating our historic win by dancing in the streets and staying up WAY past their normal bedtime.  I can almost bet that they reached for a cup of coffee the next morning!

Some fans had to get out of bed, get in their cars and drive to their local coffee shop.  But those that are lucky enough to have single serve coffee machines could make gourmet coffee right in their own homes.  For times like these, it’s always great to make sure you have plenty of Keurig K-cups or Senseo Coffee Pods in your pantry.  Fortunately, Coffee for Less is back this February to help your panty stay stocked.  About Coffee For Less:

A few months back, I was fortunate to do a product review of a Keurig Platinum Brewer.  This machine has been a godsend in my house!  My hubby uses it daily to make both coffee and iced coffee treats before he leaves for school or as a nighttime snack.  I, on the other hand, am a tea kinda girl!  The Keurig allows us to both enjoy our favorites!  A great place to discover new favorites is Coffee For Less which has an almost endless variety of K-Cups for our machine.  The choices are so extensive that Coffee For Less provides you with a “K-Cup Selector Tool” to help you find the best choice for your taste and lifestyle.

My hubby selected the Gloria Jeans Coffee Swiss Chocolate Almond K-Cup Box which comes in a pack of 24 for $11.95.  He absolutely LOVES IT!  He finally found a coffee that is great both hot or cold!  He says that it almost seems more like a dessert than a drink and he would definitely buy it again.
