Unforgettable Easter Baskets by Hershey’s: Review and Giveaway

As a child, the Easter Bunny always left a swimsuit, sunglasses, flip-flops and maybe a book….all very lovely.  But as a 6 year old girl, I pushed those gifts aside and searched for the all important CANDY!  My brother and I would dive in the the chocolate first and sneak a few (well maybe several) pieces before breakfast…sorry, Mom!

If the Easter Bunny lacks a little creativity this year, let Hershey’s help design the perfect, unforgettable basket (my girls would love the Princess Basket!).  Once the perfect basket is created, make it special by stuffing with the newest products from Hershey’s.  Check out these fun additions:

  • NEWHershey’s Chocolate Creme Egg
  • NEWWhoppers Mini Robin Eggs Bunny Bag
  • NEW Reese’s Milk Chocolate and Peanut Butter Eggs 12-Pack Tray

And if your little one saw HOP in the theater this weekend, Hershey’s has created some chocolates inspired by the movie.  Add the Hershey’s Solid Milk Chocolate HOP The Movie Magic Bunny or the Cadbury Egg Scepter of Destiny to their basket and watch their eyes light up!

If you are hosting an Easter party at your home, wow your family by decorating the table with the Hershey’s Pinwheel Party Favors or an edible flower bouquet equipped with multiple treats available for sharing. My favorite would be the adorable Peanut Butter Bunnycakes!

Musselman’s Welcomes Spring: Review and Giveaway

I have had the great pleasure of working with Musselman’s several times here at Experimental Mommy and they never seem to disappoint. So when they approached me about new and exciting activities to welcome Spring, I knew it would be something my readers would be interested in learning more about.

This Spring, Musselman’s has come up with a healthy (but fun!) side dish for your Holiday table which I decided to try with my girls this evening. It’s incredibly easy:

1/2 cup Musselman’s Applesauce
1/2 cup Yogurt (any flavor, but I used “Apple Pie”)
Raisins (or any garnish you like such as jellybeans, etc.)
bunny ear and bow tie cut-outs (available on the Musselman’s Facebook page)

Simply mis the applesauce and yogurt to create a thick consistency. Make a cute bunny face with the raisins. Tape the bunny ears and bow tie to a bowl to create an adorable presentation. Serve!

My girls loved coloring the bunny ears and bow ties and got a kick out of eating the dessert. They loved it and because I know the next few days will be filled with candy and chocolate, I was thrilled that this side dish was a healthy one. Want more Holiday crafts? Check out how to make bunny place cards with Applesauce and Cinnamon!

reeseterbunnyHershey’s also sent me a few of their old favorites as well as some new products for my review (who can turn down a chocolate review??).  When I opened the box, my hubby spotted the Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs, one of his absolute favorites, and they disappeared almost instantly (and have you seen the Reester Buuny Peanut Butter Bunny?  Oh my!).  With him out of the way, I was able to sort through the new items including individual packs of Hershey’s Kisses which are PERFECT for my daughter’s classmates and Cookies ‘n Creme Eggs which were delicious. But my favorite new product was the divine Hershey’s Bliss Bunnies with Meltaway Centers.  This box of three would make a great teacher gift!

Baby Bunch Egg Nests: Review and Giveaway

hypothesis The Baby Bunch Egg Nests will make such a cute Easter Basket stuffer for baby’s first Easter or a baby shower gift for the expecting Mom.

materials

One Baby Egg Nest in pink and blue including thre pairs of organic baby socks (size 0-6 months) and a lavender sachet nestled in a natural nest!  About The Baby Bunch:

Photobucket“The best gifts are beautiful and practical. The Baby Bunch is both, making it the perfect present for every new parent. The Baby Bunch is a blossoming selection of infant clothing presented as a bouquet of flowers that makes a unique gift for moms and dads in need of the essentials for baby.

“The Baby Bunch combines practicality with presentation,” says Bryony Boxer, founder of The Baby Bunch along with her husband Simon Martin. “We wanted to create a gift that was attractive yet useful and offers everything a baby needs to get the best possible start in life.”"

results After working with Baby Bunch last month, I already knew they had some very unique baby gifts at affordable prices.  But, when the Baby Egg Nests arrived in both pink and blue, I honestly had not seen anything like it before.  The natural nest is wrapped in celophane and tied with a festive ribbon completely ready for gift giving.  Photobucket

After opening the wrap, the faint smell of lavender was wonderful.  It definitely is not overpowering.  Lifting the sachet (shaped like a bird, of course), revealed  the three most adorable “bird eggs” made of organic baby socks.  The socks were very soft and appear to be a good quality product.

I think the Baby Egg Nest would make the perfect Easter gift for the newborn baby or even a great centerpiece for a Spring baby shower.

hypothesis The Baby Bunch provides a unique baby gift that is both practical and beautiful. In addition to the Baby Egg Nests (sold for $19.95), you may want to check out the crayon rompers…so cute!

Do you know an expecting Mom? The Baby Bunch has generously donated one pink nest and one blue nest to one lucky Not-S0-Blog reader!
