With Mother’s Day just a few short days away, I am sure you have been searching for the perfect gift for your Mom. While I am sure your Mom would love another toaster, homemade pot holder or picture frame, try to think outside the box this year….think inside the oven! Bake Me a Wish, an online company offering gourmet gift cakes, asked me to participate in a Mother’s Day Monday giveaway!
After having worked with Bake Me a Wish in the past, I knew I would love the opportunity to try another one of their decadent creations. Just to refresh your memory, a little about Bake Me a Wish:

In honor of Mothers everywhere, Bake Me a Wish has come up with some special gift ideas that really take the cake! I had the opportunity to try the new Chocolate Truffle Lava Cakes which were unbelievable. For just $39.95, your Mom will receive four lava cakes which, after heating in the microwave, are little round slices of heaven. The warm chocolate cake is taken to a whole new level when the rich chocolate liquid spills out of the center! Divine! The cakes arrived perfectly packaged and can be boxed with a card you can personalize online.
Need more incentive to buy? This year, Bake Me a Wish will donate 5% of each Mother’s Day order to Rosie’s Broadway Kids!

There is something about when the season changes and the air turns cooler that makes me crave spice cake, carrot cake and all things Fall! I love lighting cinnamon candles, baking pumpkin muffins and hanging the Fall wreath. The sights, smells, and tastes of Fall are heavenly!
Falling into Fall Giveaway #7: Bake Me a Wish
Some of my favorite Halloween memories from my childhood take place surrounded by friends and family at my home where we had Halloween parties every year. Dressing up, Trick or Treating, playing games and eating caramel apples were all a blast! So, when I found the Caramel Apple Crumb Cake from Bake Me a Wish, I knew it would be a perfect treat for Fall!

When the Caramel Apple Crumb Cake arrived, I couldn’t wait to cut into it! From the moment I opened the box, the aroma of cinnamon filled the air. The cake was not only delicious and moist, but was beautiful as well. The packaging was perfect and would make a great hostess gift for holiday parties.

Bake Me a Wish!: Review and Giveaway
A cake from Bake Me a Wish will be the perfect ending to a perfect 35th birthday! How can you go wrong with chocolate?
One Triple Chocolate Enrobed Brownie Cake from Bake Me a Wish, two daughters, one husband, Hannah Montana party accessories and the birthday girl…ME! About Bake Me a Wish:
“Bake Me a Wish! is the premium nationwide service for delivery of gourmet birthday cakes. Our cakes are made with only the finest, freshest ingredients by an award-winning family run New York bakery that also supplies pastries to some of Manhattan’s most elite restaurants.
Through careful cost control and air-tight delivery systems, we are also happy to be able to bring you our fine cakes at an extremely affordable price. Light the candles, turn off the lights, sing Happy Birthday and DIG IN! What a fun review!
Because both girls had surgery yesterday, the last thing on my mind was my own birthday. So what an incredible surprise when a brownie cake from Bake Me a Wish appeared at my doorstep! Short of winning the lottery, this is the best surprise for this chocoholic! When I got home from work, I stepped into a dining room covered in Hannah Montana party decorations (guess who picked out the party theme?). Lily was quick to tell me that a cake had arrived and she wanted to eat it! So, after removing it from the refrigerator and letting it thaw for about 30 minutes, we dove in! I was a little concerned that a brownie cake would be too dense, but I was completely wrong! This was an absolutely divine chocolate cake! Definitely not too dense and not too sweet, it was perfect with a tall glass of cold milk! Here is the description:
“Our moist & fudgy brownie cake goes through three chocolate “passes” before it’s “done”: first it’s enrobed in rich chocolate, then it gets completely blanketed with a shower of dark chocolate shaves; last, the cake is finished with milk and dark chocolate glazes drizzled all over and the Belgian chocolate plaque of your choice; for a brownie dessert that’s over-the-top-triple-delicious!”

I have received flowers and cookie bouquets for various occasions, but never have a received a cake! What a fabulous idea! Bake Me a Wish has many different cakes to choose from including Red Velvet Chocolate Cake, Caramel Apple Crumb Cake, and a Cookies and Creme Cake. From my experience with this company, I would not hesitate to order and send a cake to a loved one to help them celebrate. The cakes were fresh, pretty, and delicious while the customer service was impeccable. And the best part is that the prices are very reasonable. The brownie cake I received can be purchased for $39.95!
Bake Me a Wish allows you to do something “sweet” for our Troops overseas! Five percent of every cake order goes to Operation: Birthday Cake. Together with Soldiers’ Angels, Bake Me a Wish delivers cakes to soldiers overseas on their birthday. In addition, for $75, you can have a Freedom Cake delivered to your loved one and Bake Me a Wish will send an additional cake to a soldier overseas in the name of your recipient. The brownie cake is covered in creamy fudge frosting an sprinkled in red, white and blue.
