First Impressions Baby Apparel: Review and Giveaway

This coming weekend, we are throwing a baby shower in honor of my sister-in-law (don’t worry, it’s not a surprise!).  Looking through her registry, there are so many cute items for my soon to be niece that I had a hard time selecting a gift that would be  beautiful, functional and unique.   I know that my niece will need clothes (as her closest sibling is almost 6 years old), so I was delighted to try out the sets from First Impressions.  About the brand:

The gift set I had the opportunity to sample included an outfit from the Satin Hanger Collection, a five-piece layette set from the Everyday Value Collection and an adorable plush animal.  When I opened the box, my eye immediately went to the outfit in the Satin Hanger Collection (which obviously hangs on a sating hanger, ha!).  It is the most adorable gray dress with embellishments and white cotton capri pants.  The layette set is so incredibly soft and the plush doll finishes off the gift with a cuddly touch!

Combining the outfits and doll will make a cute and memorable baby shower gift!  I can’t wait for this weekend!

The onesie is adorable and the hooded towel is far better than any infant towel I have ever used before.  It is super-soft and thick, perfect for snuggling up your little one after a bath to keep him or her warm and dry.  It washed well and held its shape easily.  This towel would make a perfect baby gift for anyone!  Baby towels and washcloths are the things you never seem to have enough of!  Blueberry babies offers a variety of towels for both boys and girls.  The ones by 3 Marthas are exceptionally precious.

Spunky Monkeys: Review and Giveaway

When I get within a ten mile radius of a children’s clothing store, it’s as if I am rendered powerless.  I have to go look….and if I look, I probably buy.  I have two children, and it’s probably good that I don’t have more, because the amount of children’s clothing in the house would crush us all.  I am a sucker for quite a few things when it comes to kids’ clothes, and monograms are one of them.  I love seeing my kids in anything monogrammed.  It’s just so classic and so cute.  Therefore, I was thrilled to get to review a product from Spunky Monkeys!

Spunky Monkeys kindly sent me a precious swimsuit coverup.   This was perfect timing because we had just come home from swimming with friends to find the package waiting.  Emily took off the coverup she had originally had on to try on the new one, and the first thing she said was, “Oh!  Fluffy!”   She is right!  How many times have you put a coverup on your child after swimming only to find them shivering because it was too thin and got damp?  In comparison, the one I got from Spunky Monkeys was soooo nice and thick.  Emily loved the hot-pink flip flops applique, along with her name!   I said I was a sucker for monograms, but I am an even bigger sucker for anything with rick rac!  Check out the towels!  **faints**
