Tired of getting appliances or gym memberships for Valentine’s Day? Wish that just once you would be the recipient of a gorgeous bouquet of flowers? This year, throw out a hint by “liking” your favorite bouquet on the 1-800-Flowers website!

When you visit the site, you will see some of the Valentine’s Day specials. Simply “like” your favorite bouquet or special gift and your Facebook status will send out an update on your “like.” No need to leave pictures around the house or try to send subliminal messages! Hopefully, your sweetie will see your update and take the hint! Right now, it looks like the Red Rose and Calla Lily bouquet is in the lead with 603 “likes.” I absolutely love this bouquet, too! It is so different, and since my daughter’s name is Lily, it has a special significance.

While you are there, check out Daily Feats and log in your good deeds in order to gain points. Daily Feats aims to help people improve their lives in mind, body, community and home. Stock up your points and exchange them for rewards from local and national brands. While Christmas has past, it is never too late to spread some cheer for loved ones who may need it. This season, I was able to send my Grandmother (who lives in a nursing home) an All Wrapped Up Holiday Arrangement from 1-800-Flowers. The arrangement consisting of roses, carnations and mini carnations sprinkled with cedar, noble fir and sparkly silver ornaments definitely brought a smile to her face. When the package arrived, my Grandmother was elated and promptly called her friends and staff to her room to see the flowers. I am so happy that the arrangement made her so incredibly happy! She commented on how pretty they were and how wonderful they smelled. It truly made her day.
