American Girl’s doll of the year, Luciana Vega officially launched on January 1st and is a “champion of STEM and a natural-born leader who puts her whole heart into making her dreams a reality,” says Katy Dickson, president of American Girl. I’ve teamed up with some of my blogger friends to offer one of our readers their own Luciana Doll, Book, Space Suit, Accessory Pack and Flight Suit!!   15. My favorite thing is that she loves science and space! That is 2 of my favorite things, but also my 10 year old loves science too! My daughter started saving her own money because she wants to buy her! Winning this I could make her one happy girl!

  19. my daughter is thrilled that Luciana is all about Nasa! After a visit to the TX location last year, she is all about everythign space and Nasa!

  28. My favorite thing about Luciana is her spirit! Like all of the American Girl dolls/characters/stories, she sets goals and then achieves them, for herself. It’s beautiful.

  37. My favorite thing is she is an American Girl Doll… I grew up in love with these dolls, they empower little girls to reach their full potential. To reach for more and go further, to not let anyone say you can’t. On a more girly note I love that she looks like my oldest daughter!
