Confession: I am not done Christmas shopping. With only two weeks left to go, I am frantically trying to figure out the perfect gift for the “hard to buy for people” on my list. The crowd are getting almost unbearable at our local mall, so I have turned to online shopping in order to skip the lines and parking lot chaos.
This year, my hubby has lost an amazing amount of weight and I have turned to Land’s End to buy him a new wardrobe. While shopping, I noticed that Land’s End has a ton of great suggestions for non-sized gift ideas. From accessories to scarves and candy to tote bags, I found a lot of items under $30 perfect for teacher gifts.
I decided to check out the Land’s End Puffer Throw in evening sky plaid that I found in the Dream Shop for just $49.99. From the website:
“In its monogrammable bag, the Puffer Throw goes almost anywhere you can use extra warmth, from football games to airplanes. Hypoallergenic Pureloft® fill (the same fill we use in some of our coziest comforters) has the insulating power of down. Down’s compressibility, too — which is how the 50″x55″ throw packs into its 6″x11″ travel bag. The shell is tightly woven 100% polyester, quilted to keep the Pureloft evenly distributed. Machine wash. Imported.”
When the throw arrived, I could not believe that the blanket fit in the compact carry case. I love the colors of the throw which are reminiscent of the holidays but general enough to use all year round. After opening the carry case and removing the throw, I decided to snuggle on my sofa while watching my nightly re-runs of “Big Bang Theory.” The weight of the blanket is light, but kept me extremely warm.
If you are looking for last minute gifts, check out the selection at Land’s End and let me know what you find!
