Spice Up Your Backyard Party with KRAFT {Giveaway}

The summer is heating up here in New Orleans and our air conditioners are working overtime!  To keep the house a cool as possible on hot days, we take our cooking outdoors to the grill.  Preparing dinner outside without the use of our oven definitely helps keep the temperature low in our home, not to mention makes for some fun quality time with the family!

The Kraft Sizzling Salads has provided a new, tasty and incredibly easy dish for nights we decided to cook outside with friends and family.  Each kit combines a cooking sauce and salad dressing perfectly paired to create a flavor explosion.  We tried the Southwest Chicken Dinner Kit during a recent family barbeque and it was a huge hit!  With just four easy steps, I had a delicious Southwest salad ready to be served in under 25 minutes.  While the zesty fajita sauce seasoned the chicken to perfection, we mixed the salad in an awesome chilled salad bowl (which can be found at Crate and Barrel) with corn, tortilla chips and walnuts topped with the provided barbeque ranch dressing.   Delicious!  Our thirst was quenched with tall glasses of my favorite sweet tea as well as Country Time Half & Half Lemonade Drink Mix (half lemonade and half tea).

While we opted for salads, Kraft offers a variety of ways to spice up your backyard party this summer!  Have you tried the new Velveeta Slices Queso Blanco? They totally had me at queso.  Top a burger with these slices for a mild kick and an appealing melty effect.  And don’t forget to finish your party with dessert!  S’mores make a fun and easy addition to a backyard party especially with the bite sized version of Honey Maid’s Lil’ Squares Honey Grahams.  To be honest, my girls have not ever liked graham crackers, but they loved the bite sized grahams which look more like cookies.  But, with 8g of whole grain per serving, this product is Mom-approved!

Are you hosting a backyard party this summer?  Kraft Foods is bringing together five of your favorite brands to make your party a success!  Enter below to win a prize pack worth over $50 including summertime essentials for entertaining friends and family: HONEY MAID, KOOL-AID Drink Mixes, COUNTRY TIME Drink Mixes, VELVEETA Slices and KRAFT SIZZLING SALADS Dinner Kits as well as a Chill Salad Bowl with Salad Servers , Colorwheel Serving Tray and a Rubbermaid Carafe for serving your guests in festive style.
