Pampers Hello World Baby Memories App Arrives {Apple iTouch Giveaway}

It’s time for a little confession. I was really into scrapbooking (my hobby before blogging) when my first daughter was born. I have my entire pregnancy and her first months meticulously recorded and displayed in a beautiful album I made myself. My second daughter? Nothing. Nadda. Zip. Zilch.

I feel so bad.

With the arrival of my second daughter and the birth of this blog, life became very busy and scrapbooking was a casualty. Oh how I wish the Pampers Hello World Baby Memory App was available three years ago! This is a must download app (by the way, it’s free!) for every expecting mother who wants a great way to preserve and share milestones of their baby bump and newborn.

Features on the new Hello World app include:

  • Making Memories- a one-touch sharing capability that allows you to take photo and videos, then quickly upload them to Facebook, Flickr, Twitter or Youtube at the touch of a button.
  • Albums- Allows you to conveniently organize and arrange, by category, your family’s photos directly on your ipad, itouch or iphone device.
  • Growing Baby- Allows you to take daily photos of your baby then pulls them all together in a time-lapse video so you can see how quickly your baby is growing right before your eyes! The best part is you can use this feature to create your own personal parenthood story– start with  the baby bump, then the growth of your baby’s facial features, hands, feet, first tooth, etc. Growing Baby reveals in a remarkable way how precious babyhood really is…not that we need an app for that, but it’s still amazing to see!

The Pampers Hello Parenting App series also includes the Hello Baby Pregnancy Calendar.  For this mama who read every pregnancy book and was hungry for more information on the growing baby, this app would have been so much fun.  On the iPad you can even see life-sized images of the baby and the app is totally customizable with your baby’s due date to give you accurate weekly updates.  Did you know that at 28 weeks, your baby can respond to sounds?  The included “womb translator” allows you to record your voice and play it back as your baby hears it.  How cool is that?!?

    I remember when one of my good friends was pregnant..she would always walk around singing ‘Everyone was Kung Fu Fighting.’ Not sure why that song, but it always makes me chuckle when I hear it on the radio!

  21. One of my favorite memories of early motherhood is my babies first cues where he seemed to be trying so hard to communicate. He was only 2 months old cueing and cawing while his big blue eyes were looking right into my face. We were all alone and I was rocking him and talking to him when all of a sudden he just started making noises back at me. Of course I talked back to him as if I knew just what he was saying and he would answer me just as if he knew exactly what I was saying. This went on back and fourth for about 20 minutes. This was a very special moment between us. I could hardly believe my eyes or ears. When his father came home and we were laying in bed that night I tried to explain what had happened earlier in the day but it was so hard to explain the aaawww of it. I mean it was something you would of had to seen to understand just how unusual and amazing this was. I well never forget that first special conversation my son and I shared.

    Thanks for Sharing this wonderful review and giveaway with all of us~!

    PS I would love to tweet this giveaway for you Bridgette but after twitter updated to the new version I can no longer access it most of the time. Three of my friends who were big time twitters also can’t use it any more. I can’t follow anyone new and the tab buttons never work and I can only tweet if I reload the page 20 or 30 times and get lucky and it opens but that has only happened a few times :(

    One of my favorite memories has to be the day my daughter Paige was born; she is my first so naturally it was very exciting all around….but after she was born my mother-in-law came to visit and brought up to the suite a whole bunch of greek food–gyros, spanakopita, olives and feta, souvlaki, hummus and chips and so forth. Of course, my daughter being healthy and strong was the best part but the awesome food didn’t hurt!
