Help Chrysler on a Road to Literacy!

Last month, I introduced you to Chrysler’s Road to Literacy program.  Because my oldest is starting her own journey to literacy in Kindergarten this year, the program is something I am definitely interested in.  Because I believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn to read, I think Chrysler has come up with a winning program!

There is still time to participate!  Through June 1st, visit your local Chrysler dealer and test drive an all new 2011 Town and Country and Chrysler will donate 5 Scholastic books to the school of your choice PLUS 5 books to a school in need.  They would love to donate 150,000 books, but checking their Facebook page, it looks like only 527 books were donated to date.  So, how can you get involved and give the gift of reading?

1. Register on Chrysler’s Facebook page and let them know how you would like to be contacted as well as which school you would like to support.

2. When you arrive at your test drive appointment, check in using Facebook Places. Don’t forget to ask your dealer for the donation code before you leave!

3. Return home, log in to Facebook and enter your dealer’s donation codes.

It’s that easy!  Take a minute to check out the new 2011 Town and Country (who wouldn’t want a luxury vehicle, right?) and help a child on their Road to Literacy.

This post is the opinion of the Experimental Mommy. While I was compensated for this post, all opinions remain 100% mine.
