Thankfully, my kids are not picky eaters. One of the things they love to eat is yogurt. I try to get them to eat it at least once a day as it is healthy for them, and not something that will spoil their appetite for dinner. I have been curious to try Greek yogurt that I have seen on the grocery shelves lately, and was thrilled to get to try some out recently, courtesy of Voskos.
Why greek yogurt? Besides helping to contribute to steady weight loss, Voskos yogurt is an excellent source of protein and calcium, and helps maintain and restore digestional health. See more of the health benefits here. Voskos kindly sent me a huge sampling of their products, plenty enough to go around and something for everyone. I tried some of the Honey Vanilla Bean and my son tried the blueberry. We agreed the flavors of both were slightly more intense than regular yogurt and that takes some getting used to. The consistency is definitely thicker and I like that. After trying out more in the course of the next few days, we all agreed we liked the flavors overall better than the plain, and I am looking to use some of the plain variety in some of the recommended recipes so that we can still get the benefits!
