With a full time job, two kids and a blog to run, I almost never get a chance to check out the other fabulous blogs out there. There are a few blogs I visit daily while on my lunch break, but I really need to expand my horizons.
While at BlogHer 09, I had the great pleasure of meeting fellow review blogger, Cecelia from Cool Baby Kid. After hours of chatting and walking the streets of Chicago, we talked about the trials and tribulations of being a Mom review blogger who also works outside the home. Our schedules were tight and lacked enough time to really promote our sites in order to advance to the next level. Almost instantly, a light bulb went off and we both started brainstorming and building on the idea of “power in numbers.”
Out of our discussions grew the “Double Duty Divas.” We decided to create a blog network in order to connect some of the best review blogs on the Internet and work together as a Team. By providing “power in numbers” we could promote fellow divas, make new friends and become more attractive to companies looking for a larger audience. With over 100 members, our network has grown beyond our expectations in the first year and we can’t wait to see what’s next for us!
We would love for you to help us celebrate our network by “Meeting the Divas!“ Take a look at some of these great blogs and subscribe via email!
For every blog you subscribe to, come back here and and tell me what you loved about the blog! Your incentive (other than finding great new sites, of course!)…..a $20 Amazon gift card! Each of the blogs listed above will be hosting the contest so visit them all and enter to increase your chances of winning! On June 22nd, the entries will be pooled across all participating blogs and one winner will be randomly selected. U.S. Only.
