hypothesis Vincent Shoes will be my one stop shop for all of Lily’s Spring/Summer Shoe needs.  I believe I am bound to find the PERFECT sandal which will be a great backbone to her Spring wardrobe.

One pair of Sandra Sandals in white, a 5 year old girl who is anxious to wear “grown up” shoes, and a need for functional spring and summer sandals. About Vincent Shoes:

vincentlogo

In August 1999, Vincent Shoe Store opened, exclusively selling the full range of their children’s shoe designs – all of them fashionably styled and done in high quality materials and construction. There have been a Spring/Summer and a Fall/Winter collection every year since the debut. Patrick and Thomas derive their inspiration from global trends and the runway fashions of Paris, Milan, London and New York, though the shoes are 100 percent focused on kids.

Fall/winter and spring/summer collections both range from soft pre-walkers and comfortable indoor shoes to day and dress shoes as well as boots for girls and boys up to about age 8.”

I was fortunate enough to review Vincent Shoes in August of last year as we searched for the perfect shoe for Lily’s cheerleading class.  We found them and she STILL wears that shoe to class each and every week.  So when it was time to build her Summer wardrobe, I knew exactly where to begin!

I took a look at the Spring and Summer line and fell in love with the white Sandra sandal!  Now that Lily is 5, she has all of a sudden taken an interest in fashion and definitely has an opinion on what she wears.  She loves the Sandra sandal mainly because of it’s small heel and the hint of sparkle.  Vincent Shoes describes the sandal as, “Sandra’s heel is cushioned on both sides by a rubber sole. Its fashionable wooden riser lets your little one feel a little more grown-up while still offering the comfort of a girl’s sandal. What your daughter may love even more than the heel on this shoe is the toe appliqué. A daisy-shaped flower with a glittering sequin in the middle will make this the shoe of choice for almost any special occasion.”

The shoe fits Lily very well and goes with just about any Spring outfit including her Easter dress!

Le Baby Hair Gel: Review and Giveaway

hypothesis Le Baby Hair Gel will be a great way to tame Aubrie’s curly hair before she leaves for daycare without using a product intended for adults containing potentially harmful chemicals.

materials

One tube of Le Baby Hair Gel, Aubrie’s hair in the morning and one Easter party to attend.  About Le Baby Hair Gel:

lebaby“Le Baby hair gel is a styling gel free of harsh chemicals meant to define wispy curls and tackle unruly after-nap hair.   From taming wild fly-aways caused by humidity to smoothing frizzies,Le Baby hair gel works on all hair types and is hypoallergenic for sensitive skin.  While the concept of baby hairstyling products might seem a little child-beauty-pageant to some, for many moms and dads it’s a must-have diaper bag accessory for their child and them!  Whatever your child’s hair type, Le Baby will make combing and styling a cinch. The unique formulas leave hair shiny, healthy looking and more manageable.”

results If you are a regular reader here at Experimental Mommy, you have no doubt seen Aubrie’s hair.  In the morning, or after bathtime, her hair is beautifully curly but quite unmanageable.  It looks a little something like this:

Every morning, I have to use a leave-in conditioner to calm the frizzies and sometimes even have to wet it down to brush it into a ponytail.  What a struggle!  So, when I learned about Le Baby Hair Gel, I was hoping it would be a great solution for Aubrie! Le Baby Hair Gel is hypoallergenic, fragrance free, doesn’t leave hair stiff or sticky and moisturizes curly locks.

Going through our morning routine today, it was time to fix Aubrie’s hair for her Easter party.  Upon using the hair gel for the first time, I noticed that it wasn’t as thick as I expected, so I made a bit of a mess.  However, because it isn’t thick, the gel was easy to apply and smoothed Aubrie’s hair nicely while not flattening her beautiful curls.  Check out the results:

hypothesis

Le Baby Hair Gel did a great job taming Aubrie’s hair and made it so much easier to create a hairstyle that would stay while she played.  Aubrie’s “do” lasted all day at her Easter Egg hunt and didn’t appear stiff or sticky at all.  The hair gel can be purchased for $9.95.  Don’t miss the latest news!  Become a Fan on Facebook!
