The VTech DS6321-3 Cordless Phone system will be a great way to ensure that my husband and I never miss valuable phone calls on both our home phone and cell phones which will bring us a peace of mind.
One VTech DS6321-3 Cordless phone which includes an answering machine and three additional handsets, our busy family and one husband eager to try out the latest technology! About VTech Phones:
“At VTech, we live by the words “innovation beyond technology.” Our mission is to be the most cost-effective designer and manufacturer of innovative, high-quality consumer electronics products and to distribute them to markets worldwide in the most efficient manner possible.
Within the realm of telecommunication products, our North American operation is one of the top 3 players in the US cordless phone market. VTech’s spirit of innovation has allowed us to assume the roles of pioneers and prime movers in the industry. In 1992 we developed the first fully digital 900 MHz cordless phone, in 2002 VTech introduced the first 5.8 GHz cordless phone and in 2005 we introduced the first integrated VoIP cordless phone.”
As a family that consists of two parents who both work full time outside the home, you can imagine that our schedule is tight. With my oldest daughter is on the move with school, dance and cheerleading classes, my husband and I struggle to stay connected with family, friends and even each other.
Our cell phones are like another appendage to us! I feel like we rarely use our home telephone and had even considered disconnecting service. However, I was recently introduced to VTECH phones. As a Mom, I am very familiar with VTech Kids because my daughters love their innovative products (such as the Tag Reader). But did you know that VTech’s innovation expands well beyond toys and games?
I was sent a VTech DS6231-3 Cordless phone for review. Because I was considering disconnecting home telephone service, I was curious about the features on this phone and was anxious to see if this phone could change my mind. A few specs from the website:
|
After receiving the phone, I followed the instructions for set up which was a snap! I connected the main base to my home phone line and scattered the remaining two handsets throughout my home. I like the additional headsets because while the system is cordless, you don’t even have to remember to take a handset with you because they are scattered throughout our high traffic areas. Lose a handset? No problem! There is a locator alarm to help you find them! Making and receiving calls on our home line was easy and quality of the sound is excellent. My husband loves the fact that you can check voicemail right from any handset and you do not have to go to the main base to play your messages!
The feature we love the most is the fact that you can connect your Bluetooth enabled cell phone to the handsets. My husband teaches and always has his phone off or on vibrate throughout the day. Many times, he forget to turn it on when at home and as a result, misses many phone calls. Now, when he comes home, he can sync his cell phone to the handsets. When his cell phone rings, the handsets ring with a different tone from our land line. Simply answer the handset to connect the call! Your cell phone can remain on its charger all night long! Brilliant! He also loved being able to download his entire address book to our handsets as well. This eliminates having to find the cell phone to fetch important numbers stored.
Both my husband and I love the VTech DS6231-3 Cordless phone! In addition to it’s easy setup, we love the convenience of several handsets and the technology of answering cell calls through the handsets. The price of this phone is $99 and can be purchased directly from VTech Phones.

I’d put the handsets in the kitchen, the family room, and in the upstairs master bedroom. The one in the kitchen needs to stay away from the kitchen sink – we’ve lost phones in there before.
Thanks for the great contest!

I love this phone you are giving away. We have a Vtech cordless in our home office, and sometimes it has some trouble, now that it’s getting older. I’d put one of the new ones in the home office. One I’d put in the family room, because it’s very hard to hear the phone ring if you’re out there. The other one would probably go in the kitchen; we have a corded phone in there now, and it crackles a lot. I’m not sure what’s wrong with it.
I would put them in the kitchen, living room and the master bedroom.
BED ROOM living room and kitchen.
My kitchen, bedroom and basement.
Our daughter’s bedroom, the office and the living room.
I would place one in my room, hubbies room and the living room:0)
