Fabkins Napkins Review and Giveaway!

It’s time for school to start already!  I can hardly believe it.  Once school starts I have an extra chore….making lunches!  I pack my children’s lunches every single day.   I choose to do this because I like to be in control of what they are getting to eat and let’s face it….we all remember how scary those cafeteria lunches can be.  If you even whisper the words “Shepherd’s Pie” near my husband he gets the cold sweats.

So, packing for two children the entire school year means 360 lunches.  HOLY COW!  So, I try to keep things as interesting as possible so they don’t get lunchbox burnout and instead throw a fit for the deep-fried insanity being served in the cafeteria that day.  Therefore, I was thrilled to get to review these ADORABLE napkins from Fabkins! Fabkins are everyday cloth napkins for kids that are perfect for lunchboxes.  The advantages to using Fabkins are many.  One, you save money by not having to use paper napkins that get thrown away.  Two, you are helping the environment by reducing waste.  Three, they are so darn cute!  Fabkins are sold in packs of four and come in an array of different designs to suit your tough guy or little princess.  I especially love the Garden Friends!

The Fabkins I received are adorable and very well made.  They were the perfect size for the kids to use and fit right into their lunchboxes!

Both kids thought they were “cool” and want to use them from now on.  I typically buy party napkins with different themes or characters on them to try and make their lunches as fun as possible and I love how the Fabkins will eliminate that expense.  In addition, after reading the tips on Fabkins website for going “green,”  I am inspired to try to reduce waste even more in my children’s lunches by utilizing some of the advice given.  So, by using Fabkins, I can save money, reduce waste, and give my kids something they think is neat!  That’s enough to impress even the scariest lunch lady!

Sing it with me! "Sloppy Joes, Slop-Sloppy Joes!"
