When I was a kid, m0st of our family vacations went as follows: wake up, drive a million hours to a destination, eat whatever food was close to the Interstate (even if it meant eating at the same chain restaurant for every meal), eat junk food in the car, arrive at hotel, swim until we burned off all the sugar we ate that day, go to sleep……repeat.
