Albolene Cleanser will effectively remove my stage makeup after a performance and leave my skin soft and moisturized.
One 6oz. jar of Albolene Unscented Cleanser and a ton of makeup on my face following a dance performance. About Albolene:
“Albolene® Moisturizing Cleanser has been well-known for decades as an effective and gentle makeup remover, especially for hard-to-remove “waterproof” and “smudge-proof” cosmetics. Used regularly by Broadway stars and others who regularly apply heavy makeup that needs gentle removal, this dermatologist-recommended, moisturizing cleanser liquefies on contact with skin to thoroughly dissolve makeup, dirt and environmental grime.”
While I am far from a Broadway Star, I have been dancing for most of my life. Each year, we have a performance which requires heavy stage makeup. I use waterproof and smudge-free mascara which can be difficult to remove. And this year, my daughter performed as well in all of her “sparkles.” After the performance I used a small quantity of Albolene Unscented Cleanser on both Lily and I in order to remove the heavy makeup.
A little Albolene cleanser went a LONG way! I needed a VERY small amount for my face in order to quicky, easily and most importantly COMPLETELY remove my eye makeup and mascara. My old cleanser would leave “raccoon-like” circles under my eyes, but Albolene left my face totally free of any trace of makeup. It worked just as well on Lily’s face and did not have a heavy scent or burn her eyes.

While Albolene is a wonderful cleanser, it has also recently been clinically-proven for the treatment of mild to moderate eczema, according to a new study in the March 2009 issue of the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology. Albolene is just as effective as a leading prescription moisturizer, Mimyx® in the reduction of dryness, scaling, itching, redness and peeling related to mild to moderate eczema. And, Albolene costs a fraction of the price and has widespread availability in the drug store for a suggested retail price of $9.95 for a 12–ounce jar.
