PaperRamma: Giveaway

In July, I will be attending BlogHer ’09 in Chicago along side 1200 wonderful bloggers!  I am so excited to be able to attend the event and hope to learn how to take my blog to the next level.  But, I would not be able to attend without the generous support of some incredible companies, such as PaperRamma, who are sponsoring my trip.

I found PaperRamma by searching Etsy for business cards and totally fell in love with her designs and unique carrying case!  Amanda creates Mommy Contact Cards in fun shapes that really stand out from the standard business card.  Never thought about carrying a contact card?  Amanda tells you why you should….

KidCards: Review and Giveaway

One of the most treasured gifts I received this Mother’s Day was a handmade card from my daughter, Lily.  She was so proud of her card that she could NOT wait to give it to me and ended up telling me all about it before I could open the envelope!

She enjoyed making my card so much, that she asked to create some for her Grandmothers.   It was the perfect opportunity to review the products by KidCards!

Lily received Volume 1: Coloring Cards that are geared for the younger child.  These cards have predrawn images that are ready to be decorated and colored.  Lily quickly paged through the spiral bound book and found lots of pictures that were of interest to her.  She loved coloring, signing the card, and placing it in the provided envelope.  She also loved decoarting the envelope with stamps!

For the older child, Volume 2 features freehand drawing frames.  The blank card is simply framed with themed decorations, leaving more space for freehand drawing.  KidCards also offers Holiday, Christmas, and thank you card packages! Each book includes 20 cards.

Because this product inspires young ones to be creative, KidCards just won a 2009 iParenting Media Excellent Products Award in the Books Category!  Lily would give it her own award if she could!  She played with this for a very long time and wanted to create as many cards as possible.  Here she is with the card she made for her best friend, Abby.
