When the package from Nowali arrived, Lily was more than eager to try them on! Thr bright colors intrigued her and she immediately proclaimed that they looked like her favorite ballet shoes! She tried them on and danced and twirled around our laminate flooring (I even let her run in the house a little!).
I honestly was shocked at how much Lily liked the Nowali Moccasins. She NEVER wears slippers because she prefers socks. But with laminate flooring and a dance-obsessed 4 year old, this almost always ends in disaster. As a Mom, I liked the non-skid soles and the fact that the moccasins stayed on her feet while she actively played.
The Nowali Moccasins were a hit in my home! I would definitely consider buying a pair of their no-slip socks for Lily (and myself!) or a smaller pair for my new walker, Aubrie! The moccasin appealled to my daughter and she did keep them on much longer than a regular slipper.

These remind me of some slippers my aunt kept at her house for us. They’d be warming by the heat register when we’d get off the bus after school, and there’d be something freshly-baked waiting for us, too. Thanks for bringing back that memory! I really like the flowers design in red.
