Review and Giveaway: PinkTooth

Have you ever been cut off on the road by someone chatting away on their cell phone, or worse yet….texting?!?  Several states including California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Washington and Washington D.C. have banned the use of handheld cell phones while driving.  Additional states have banned novice drivers from using their cell phones as well.  If you must go “hands-free”, why not do it in style?!?

ChicBuds, the makers of Swarovski adorned iPod earphones, are introducing the Pink Tooth, a chic version of a wireless headset!  Each Pink Tooth covered in either white or pink crystals provides a crystal clear sound.  The comfortable inner earbuds and light weight makes for a pleasurable hands-free experience.
The Specs:
Adorned with Swarovski Crystals.
Talk time: up to 6 hours.
Standby time: up to 200 hours.
2 color LED.
Rechargeable Li-Polymer Battery.
I was lucky enough to try out my very own Pink Tooth!  Louisiana does not have a ban on cell phones for adult drivers, but I definitely agree that using a hands-free device will make driving and talking much safer.  When it arrived, it was packaged in the cutest candy tin which would make a great birthday or Mother’s Day gift!  I immediately took it out and placed it in my ear.  Honestly, I have never worn a BlueTooth device and wasn’t sure how much it would bother me, but the Pink Tooth is so lightweight that I barely felt it at all!

Setup was a snap!  I was up and running in under 3 minutes.  I tested out the clarity of my Pink Tooth with a friend and she could hear me just fine and the sound from my headset was perfect.  I think it will take a little practice to get used to not grabbing for my actual cell phone, but this device certainly made driving and talking MUCH easier….and I look cute, too, don’t ya think!??!

  2. Susan: I am sorry you feel like the requirement is unfair. However, this is how Chicbuds intends to run all of their contests from now on. If you do not want to subscribe to their newsletter, do not enter to win a FREE pair. You may purchase ChicBuds on their website without having to fill your inbox with unwanted emails.

  3. Wow! It’s amazing how some people are when entering for something free.
P.S. – Sorry, forgot to tell you great post!

  6. Thank you for the giveaway. Those are really cute and nicer than the boring bluetooth headset I have (Which I gave to my husband btw, lol).

I signed up for the newsletter. On my way to activate it by email.

  7. I just wanted to say that this “Susan Varney” chick makes the round on all the blogs, and she always has something very nasty and snippety to say. She needs to check that attitude at the door!
Anyway, as always, your blog is wonderful, thank you for the review and the link to the giveaway. I have been a subscriber (both here and at ChicBlvd.) for a while so I don’t think I’m eligible. Thanks anyway!

  8. Now…I have to post my mind….How rude of some ppl to complain about rules when they are being offered something for free. If you want it then follow the rules. If you don’t like the rules then move along because the rest of us are more than happy to follow the requirements of the sponsor or the blog owner.

  10. Carol,

I was told to send your name and email to them and they will enter you. That way you don’t need to subscribe to the newsletter again. I already sent them your info, so you should be all set!

Same goes for anyone who has previously subscribed to ChicBlvd and still wants to enter this contest. Just leave your info here and I will forward it to them.

  15. My husband loves using his bluetooth all the time. I have one, but can’t get used to it hanging on my ear. He’s always trying to get me to wear it. Would love to win to try yours. Looks very comfortable. Please enter me, thank you

  16. I signed up. And even though I don’t know her, I would like to apologize for susan varney. I think that some people tend to forget that real people are behind these blogs and websites. It’s very easy to type rude words onto a website form without considering that an actual person is going to read them. I really hope her friends and relatives see that post and she is properly ashamed.
