MOTONAV TN20 Giveaway: What Mom needs!

The streets of New Orleans are anything but easy to navigate.  Even though I was born and raised here, the city streets always leave me lost.  Another fact of life here is evacuations.  At least once every few years, we find ourselves driving out of harms way to an unfamiliar city.  We have affectionately called these little trips, “Hurrications” which in 2005 lasted about 6 months for my family.

In times like this, when tensions and anxiety are at an all time high, a GPS navigation system, such as the MOTONAV TN20, would help to ease my mind.  From the website:

MOTONAV TN20 is a reliable, easy-to-use portable GPS navigation system that relieves the stress of driving in unfamiliar places with spoken street names and turn by turn directions.”motonavWhat a great Mother’s Day gift (hint hint)!  Driving in ANY city would be so much easier with this unit.  The MOTONAV TN20 has over 1 million pre-loaded points of interest and can help you find just about any restaurant, hotel, business or gas station on your trip!

This model has a 3.5″ touch screen which will adjust in brightness for day or night driving.  The touch screen allows the driver to use their finger to zoom and easily move around the map in the direction they wish to go.  It can also be mounted on your windshield with a suction cup adapter and directions can be viewed in either 2D or 3D images.

Need more features?  Check out the big brother, the MOTONAV TN30!  The biggest difference between the two units is that the TN30 is Bluetooth enabled and has Caller ID capabilities.  It is also a bit bigger with a 4.3″ touch screen and 4 million preloaded destinations.

Motorola has generously donated one MOTONAV TN20 to a lucky Not-So-Blog reader!  This is a great prize with an ARV of $179.99!

Man invented the automobile as a means of getting one or more people from point A to point B in a shorter and more convenient manner… except for my husband! This is where the MOTONAV TN20 comes in – less driving for him, less stress for me. ;)

I absolutely need this because I get lost on a postage stamp! I have no sense of direction and I live in Phoenix, one of the most obscurely designed cities in the world, and if I don’t have GPS soon you will be hearing a news story about a woman lost for days screaming at her car. ;)

I need to win b/c my husband never asks for directions. He will just drive around (forever it seems) b/c he doesn’t want to hurt is ego by asking for directions. He usually finds the place we are looking for but it would be nice to what streets to turn on and where to go. Winning this would help eliminate arguments in our car. Thanks!

  18. ky2here says:

I’m just directionally challenged. Still trying to figure out why, when I drive to my daughter’s school, I take the West exit, but I also have to take the West exit to get home. How can that be? In my mind, I should take East going home and would have (ok I did once)if I wasn’t told otherwise, but that took me further West….sigh…I need help.

  33. Beth says:

I actually would give this to my DH for father’s day because after living in the same place for over 7 years you would think you know where he’s going. Every time we head out on the road he has to ask ok now where do I go? This is why I usually like to drive.

  34. Linda M says:
  35. Crystal F says:

I need this so that I can take my girls somewhere other than right around the house. We stay close to home because of our fear of getting lost. I actually got lost about 5 miles from our house. Can you believe that? lol I’m sure my girls would love to go to some new places and this would make it possible. Thank you!

  49. K. Cleaver says:

We’ve recently moved into a big city and this would be better than trying to drive and read a map at the same time. Thanks!

I would love to win this. I can get lost faster than you can believe. It would be so nice to be able to actually get someplace that I am going without having someone come to direct me.
