The streets of New Orleans are anything but easy to navigate. Even though I was born and raised here, the city streets always leave me lost. Another fact of life here is evacuations. At least once every few years, we find ourselves driving out of harms way to an unfamiliar city. We have affectionately called these little trips, “Hurrications” which in 2005 lasted about 6 months for my family.
In times like this, when tensions and anxiety are at an all time high, a GPS navigation system, such as the MOTONAV TN20, would help to ease my mind. From the website:
“MOTONAV TN20 is a reliable, easy-to-use portable GPS navigation system that relieves the stress of driving in unfamiliar places with spoken street names and turn by turn directions.”
What a great Mother’s Day gift (hint hint)! Driving in ANY city would be so much easier with this unit. The MOTONAV TN20 has over 1 million pre-loaded points of interest and can help you find just about any restaurant, hotel, business or gas station on your trip!
This model has a 3.5″ touch screen which will adjust in brightness for day or night driving. The touch screen allows the driver to use their finger to zoom and easily move around the map in the direction they wish to go. It can also be mounted on your windshield with a suction cup adapter and directions can be viewed in either 2D or 3D images.
Need more features? Check out the big brother, the MOTONAV TN30! The biggest difference between the two units is that the TN30 is Bluetooth enabled and has Caller ID capabilities. It is also a bit bigger with a 4.3″ touch screen and 4 million preloaded destinations.
Motorola has generously donated one MOTONAV TN20 to a lucky Not-So-Blog reader! This is a great prize with an ARV of $179.99!

I was so happy the day I finally got my disability but I didn’t know the problems that would cause! I also received state funded medical insurance which really bites! I had to change my doctors that I have had for over 15 years and instead of driving 60 miles to Knoxville, where I used to have to drive now I have to drive over 100 miles to Nashville for all of my doctors and clinics. They are all in different parts of Nashville, some not so nice of neighborhoods. I get lost every time I go. I also take my daughter to all of her doctor appointments in Nashville too. Its a pretty big town. I always leave over an hour early so I won’t be late. If I had a GPS it would save me time where I won’t have to hurt so long while trying to find the doctor and also save me gas from not getting lost each time too. I think a GPS would have to be the greatest invention since sliced bread!

I get lost easily and this would be a life saver!
I’m always getting lost. If I win this, it will save lots of gas and in turn the economy and then the world!
I need this because I am directionally challenged! I get lost coming out of a store in the mall (seriously! I rely on my family to turn me in the right direction when we get out of a store1) I always need to print out detailed directions whenever I go anywhere and one wrong turn can have me helplessly lost! I would have much more confidence behind the wheel with this helpful gadget leading the way! Thanks for the giveaway that could save me lots of time and keep me on a straight and narrow path!
I NEED this prize because I’m always getting lost!!! Thanks for the chance to win!
There are quite a few places in NJ with lousy signs and this would help.
I need it because I acually got lost a few weeks ago and I was only about 30 miles from home. It was raining and I had to pull over for directions at a gas station. Even after the girl gave me directions I ended up going to far and had to turn around. One of these would sure have helped.
Thank you for this awesome giveaway!
I NEED THIS BECAUSE I GET LOST WHEN I GO HOME TO BROOKLYN..HAHAHAHA
This is so embarrassing to say but in a town of only 110,000 and after living here for almost 23 years, I still get lost. And we like to take day trips to surrounding towns but end up spending an extra hour trying to figure out how to get back home.
You’re on my blogroll.

I need one of these devices!
I NEED this because I get lost almost everywhere! I can not follow maps!
i need this because i get lost a lot while traveling for business but, as a man, i am not allowed to stop and ask directions
This would be really useful for my trip to California for my son’s wedding.
My sister has a GPS in her car and loves it…I’m a bit jealous, I want one too!
I need this because I’m always getting lost. I have the worst sense of direction!
I’m always getting lost. Save me!
When I was growing up my mother would entertain us children by packing us up in the car and driving us out of the city and into the country for long leisurely rides. We would drive miles and miles through rustic country roads and along the way she would find these adorable country stores and stop to let us kids buy “penny candy”. These fun and very memorable experiences still stick in my head today and this is a pastime I now enjoy with my own 3 young children. I would love and really do need this MOTONAV TN20 GPS navigation system for our car so when we are on these wonderful spontaneous journeys in the country I can safely and easily navigate our way home without having to very frequently stop and ask for directions. There have been times where literally I have had absolutely no idea where were were, finding ourselves in towns I have never heard of before. Some of them are not even on traditional roadmaps, yikes! And, when someone verbally provides me with directions, I am so bad at remembering them and following them as I am a visual person! This GPS system would give me such peace of mind in knowing that no matter how far we travel and how obscure a place we may find ourselves in, I will be able to safely and easily get my family back home! Also, my husband and I both have family that live out of state and they are spread out all across the country. We always take at least 4-5 roadtrips per year. Having this GPS unit in our vehicle will be a tremendous help in assisting us in getting to our destinations in the quickest most efficient manner. A tool like this will eleviate so much stress and anxiety when we encounter construction, delays and get just plain ole lost! For a family like ours who enjoys the good old fashioned road trips this is a must have nifty gadget to have on board with us! Thank you so much for the opportunity to enter.

I really need this, because I am terrible with directions and get lost very easily.
We just moved to a new area and it’s so hard to figure out where I’m going. I print out directions but it never fails, I miss a turn and then wind up lost. I would love to have a GPS. It would give me some freedom.
I need this prize because I want to give it to my son for his birthday.
