Review and Giveaway: Yo-Plus

To me, yogurt means chocolatey frozen goodness with a layer of chocolate chips from my local TCBY.  While it is possible to get this type of yogurt in a low-cal version, I wouldn’t go so far as to say it is GOOD for you.  Since having kids, my vision of yogurt has expanded.  We have been loyal customers of Yoplait (white chocolate raspberry yogurt is a staple in my house) for a few years now, so I was more than happy to accept a review for their new Blueberry Acai flavor of Yo-Plus.yoplus2Yo-Plus is similar to other Yoplait products in that it has the same great taste you love with the benefit of active cultures.  But Yo-Plus gives you much more: a special blend of fiber (3 grams per serving) and probiotics to help regulate your digestive health naturally.  After reading that Yo-Plus is safe for young children, I thought it would be a great idea to get Aubrie some because she has been on antibiotics for quite some time now with a bad ear infection.  It was a hit!

    to TRY to stay healthy I make sure I always have healthy snacks on me so I don’t have the urge to have something unhealthy…it works, most of the time!!

  2. My tip is to make sure to only buy healthy foods, because if it’s not in the house, you can’t eat it!

  4. One thing I do to stay healthy is I just started eating Fiber One bars and am trying to get that 25 grams of fiber into my daily diet. I eat yogurt every day, this is actually my favorite. I can tell it has made a difference in my digestive system and it tastes great.

  7. I eat the Blackberry Pomegranite. Its so good! I tell the kids its only for adults. They catch on quick and so now I buy the cherry for them.

  11. In order to stay healthy I plan out my meals in advance from breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It also keeps my family balanced as to what we eat. This also allows me to spend more time on excercising or walking than planning meals.

My best advice regarding healthy diet and staying healthy is to make an achievable plan and stick to it by rewarding yourself for every healthy meal and snack and every daily workout (even if it’s just 10 minutes). You can’t go out and buy yourself those fabulous new earrings or that awesome purse unless you earn it! It works, y’all!

  14. I exercise 6/7 days a week and try to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables although sometimes the fruit is in pie

  15. I try to stay healthy by using portion control. After having a second baby recently I realized I really needed to crack down a lot harder this time around. Its been a great success!
