Muses defining throw is shoes that have been decorated by the Krewe members. If you are really lucky (or know someone in the parade), you may walk away with one of these:

Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair: Review and Giveway CONTEST CLOSED
A few things you should know about Callie:
1. She sheds.
2. She is not allowed to get on the sofa.
3. She is stubborn.
4. She does NOT listen (as you can see in the above picture).
I can tell when Callie sneaks a nap on the sofa because it is covered in dog hair. I despise vacuuming the sofa…..seriously….worst.chore.ever. So, I was more than thrilled to try out the new Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair!
How it works: Simply slide it side to side in short strokes. Rollers rotate back and forth to lift and trap unsightly pet hair. One Pledge™ Fabric Sweeper picks up as much pet hair as 145 sticky roller sheets.
- Upholstered couches and chairs—so you can sit back and relax.
- Pillows and cushions—Pledge™ Fabric Sweeper is great for removing pet hair from throw pillows, couch cushions, and bed pillows.
- Car interiors—great for cleaning pet hair off upholstered car seats so you can roll down the window, without stirring up pet hair.
- Slide side-to-side on upholstered furniture using moderate pressure. Use short strokes of about 8-12 inches in each direction (as indicated by the arrows on the sweeper).
- Fabric Sweeper is self-cleaning! As you go in one direction, one roller picks up the pet hair from the surface. When you go in the other direction, the second roller cleans off the first and pushes the pet hair inside.
- If pet hair builds up on the rollers, repeat the side-to-side motion a few times on a clean area of the upholstery.
My first impression of the Fabric Sweeper was that it looked too good to be true! This little thing can’t possibly work as well as my vacuum! Once I managed to wake up Callie and get her off the sofa (did I mention that she doesn’t listen?), I tried it out and was more than pleasantly surprised. By simply moving the Pledge Fabric Sweeper from side to side, I was able to quickly remove all of the pet hair from my microfiber couch! I am in love! I no longer have to drag out the heavy, bulky vacuum for quick touch ups!

Mardi Gras Mambo Day 4: Krewe of Thor CONTEST CLOSED
The Krewe of Thor was formed in 1974 and consisted of 500 riders. It is the first Krewe in Jefferson Parish to consist of both male and female members. This Krewe is named for the Norse god of thunder and rain (but they always hope that it doesn’t rain on their parade!).
Today’s sponsor of the Mardi Gras Mambo is Sweet Smiles Baby! This Etsy shop designs and creates Sweet Bottoms which are adorable diaper covers paired with embroidered white tanks or long sleeved bodysuits.
Sweet Smiles Baby has generously donated this Kimono Sweet Bottoms diaper cover outfit in Parasol! The irresistible large parasol print bow on these Kimono Sweet Bottoms is inspired by the traditional obi and butterfly bow of the Japanese Kimono. What a GREAT baby shower gift!

Think Thin Thursday: Tyson Edition
Is it Thursday ALREADY?? This weeks Think Thin Thursday post is brought to you by Tyson Fully Cooked Chicken Breast and Steak Strips!
In order for me to stay on track (which has REALLY been hard the last few weeks), I absolutely MUST be prepared for the week and have EASY dinner recipes on the menu. You know that FAST does NOT always equal EASY, so I struggle to find a happy medium.
Fortunately, Tyson wanted to share with my readers some great new recipes with their Fully Cooked Chicken and Steak Strips that are fast, easy, AND healthy! These recipes were created by Food Network Host Robin Miller exclusively for Tyson Foods. How can you go wrong?!?
Tyson says, “The strips are lean, non-breaded, recipe-ready protein that dramatically cuts down on preparation time, giving busy families a lighter, quicker and more convenient dinnertime solution. Great for time-honored classic dishes and family favorite meals, Tyson® Fully Cooked Chicken and Steak Strips are an excellent source of protein that makes cooking light, delicious meals a snap.“
I thought I would share with you all the recipe that I will be trying this week:
Chicken Parmesan Casserole (serves 4, prep time=30 minutes)
Ingredients
1 pound whole wheat pasta
2 packets (6 ounces each) Tyson® Fully Cooked Grilled Chicken Breast Strips
¾ cup prepared no-salt added tomato sauce (pasta sauce or pizza sauce)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, regular or part-skim
3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons Panko bread crumbs
Pinch salt and ground black pepper
Preparation Instructions
- Cook whole wheat pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Arrange chicken breast strips in the bottom of a shallow baking dish. Pour tomato sauce over the chicken and sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the tomato sauce.
- In a small bowl, combine the parmesan cheese and bread crumbs. Mix well and sprinkle the mixture over the mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until the top of the casserole is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly, and season to taste with salt and black pepper. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
- Divide whole wheat pasta among four individual bowls, spoon casserole mixture over the top and serve.

Spice up Valentine’s Day with Yandy: Review
A word of caution:
Can’t decide what to get your significant other for Valentine’s Day? Well, I can pretty much guarantee that he would not object to just about ANY lingerie on this site!
Yandy.com is one of the leading suppliers of lingerie and costumes on the Internet. It stocks over 2,000 items including pajamas, bridal lingerie, bras and panties, and a whole lot more! I recently received this Beddee Bye Long Sleeve Top for my review.
The top is a really pretty color with lots of feminine details. It is very soft and held up well in the wash. It is the perfect top to throw over a cami if its a little chilly in your home. I found that the top ran a bit big, so I probably could have gone a size smaller than I normally wear.
Did you find some Valentine’s Day lingerie you MUST have for February 14th? There’s still time! Orders placed before 3 pm will be shipped the same day and orders over $70 ship FREE! So, start shopping and spice up your Valentine’s Day!
